Lady Gaga is sharing her brand new song "Hold My Hand" for the upcoming film "Top Gun: Maverick," starring Tom Cruise.

Produced by Gaga and frequent collaborator BloodPop as well as production from Benjamin Rice, the pop star commented on the track, saying she's "been working on it for years," Pitchfork noted.

After several delays, "Top Gun: Maverick" (a sequel to the 1986 film "Top Gun" that also stars Cruise) will screen at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival before hitting theaters on May 27. It also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Ed Harris, Val Kilmer, Jay Ellis, and more.

"Hold My Hand" follows Gaga's single "Love For Sale," a duet with Tony Bennett. Gaga's last solo album "Chromatica" was released in 2020 and her Chromatica Ball tour kicks off this summer.
