"Come on Barbie let's go party," is the look Ryan Gosling is giving in his first promotional image in character as the iconic Mattel Ken doll for the live-action "Barbie" movie.

As reported by People, Gosling is bleach-blond with abs for fit for a G.I. Joe in the photo. Sporting a cheesy grin and white underwear baring his name, Gosling looks to be in on the joke.

He will star alongside Margot Robbie as Barbie in the film, and social media did not hold back on sharing thoughts about the look.

"Freddie Prinze Jr's Fred walked so Ryan Gosling's Ken could run," said one user, referring to Freddie Prinze as Fred in the "Scooby-Doo" live-action films.

Another user wrote: "cunty platinum blonde ryan gosling is so funny this movie is going to be a camp masterpiece."

Gosling is reportedly dressed as the "Earring Magic Ken" version. Introduced by Mattel in 1993 as a companion to "Earring Magic Barbie," this version of the Ken doll "became the highest-selling Ken doll in history and caused a stir when some people speculated that designers had taken inspiration from the gay clubbing scene in early nineties New York and Los Angeles," the Daily Mail reported.

For obvious reasons, we are a fan of the look. As writer Evan Ross Katz put it, the film seems to be ready to look "camp right in the eye."

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film will hit theaters July 21, 2023. She also wrote the script for the film with her longtime partner Noah Baumbach.

"People generally hear Barbie and think, 'I know what that movie is going to be,' and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they're like, 'Oh, well, maybe I don't... ' " Robbie told British Vogue last year.

The role of Barbie "comes with a lot of baggage," said Robbie. "And a lot of nostalgic connections," she said. "But with that come a lot of exciting ways to attack it."
