EDGE Rewind: Gay Twitter has Thoughts on Harry Styles' Latest Comments on Sexuality and Queerbaiting

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Harry Styles covered the latest Rolling Stone issue where he gave an interview opening up about his sexuality and accusations that he is queerbaiting – and it didn't take long before Gay Twitter shared their thoughts on his latest comments.

In his interview, the former One Direction singer was asked about how he's "only publicly been with women" but Styles argued the fact (he is currently dating actress Olivia Wilde, who directed him in her new film "Don't Worry Darling").

"Sometimes people say, 'You've only publicly been with women,' and I don't think I've publicly been with anyone," he told Rolling Stone. "If someone takes a picture of you with someone, it doesn't mean you're choosing to have a public relationship or something."

When discussing his upcoming film "My Policeman," where he plays a gay cop in the 1950s, Styles talked about the public's interest in his sexuality.

"I think everyone, including myself, has your own journey with figuring out sexuality and getting more comfortable with it," he said. "It's not like, 'this is a gay story about these guys being gay.' It's about love and about wasted time to me."

It didn't take long before Gay Twitter was posting about Styles' comments. Find the reactions below.
