Jennifer Coolidge Says Without Playing Stiffler's Mom, 'It Would've Been a Very Dull Decade'

Jennifer Coolidge has once again become pop culture's It Girl with her breakout role as Tanya McQuaid on TV's buzziest show, "White Lotus."

Now with an Emmy win under her belt, and the second season of the show having come to a close on Sunday, it only makes sense that Coolidge be interviewed by pop music It Girl Ariana Grande for a very revealing cute convo in Entertainment Weekly.

Like Coolidge's acting in "White Lotus," their banter is pure gold. Coolidge took Grande through her career highs and how she doesn't plot her next acting move but goes with the flow.

About her iconic role in "Best In Show," Coolidge said: "'Best In Show' was a gift, and so much fun to make because [director and star] Christopher Guest lets you come up with everything. He gives you your name and a rough outline of who you are, but you get to come up with your look, you improv all the dialogue."

And her equally iconic roles in "Legally Blonde" and "American Pie," she said: "Legally Blonde was really a gift from God. And 'American Pie' was just – it helped my dating life in a way that I can't ever explain. If I hadn't had that movie, I don't think... Well, let's just say it would've been a very dull decade."

Picking up what Coolidge said about her role in "American Pie," where she played a MILF, Grande candidly asked: "Do you remember the best dick you got from playing Stifler's mom?"

In true Coolidge fashion, she was fuzzy on the details but it ended up with a random request.

"But afterwards, the next morning, I told him I needed to get a blow dry. So he was so young, we called his mother to see where I could get a blow dry," she said. "It was so weird that happened on the phone, it was very clear that we were in the bed together."

If you remember, Coolidge appeared in Grande's "thank u, next" video, and she credits that appearance for reigniting her career.

"I mean, from there I got 'Promising Young Woman,' and this whole thing. You were sort of the instigator. I really believe that. I think if you hadn't put me in 'thank u, next,' and done that imitation, I don't think I would be here where I am," said Coolidge.
