Kim Kardashian Starring in 'American Horror Story' Season 12

Some would describe Kim Kardashian's acting abilities as an "American Horror Story." Nevertheless, the reality TV star, entrepreneur, podcaster and pop culture icon has reportedly signed on to star in season 12 of Ryan Murphy's hit anthology series for a role that was written specifically for her, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
Also coming to bring the horror in season 12 is "AHS" alumna Emma Roberts. In a first for the show, the season will be written by a single writer, Halley Feiffer. She will also serve as show runner.
"Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family," said AHS co-creator Murphy in a statement to THR. "Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done."
Throughout her career, Kardashian has had bit parts on film and the silver screen, recently hosting an admittedly very funny episode of "Saturday Night Live" in 2021. According to THR, Kardashian began speaking about a role on "AHS" around that time.
"Specifics about Kardashian and Roberts' roles are being kept tightly under wraps, though the writing was on the wall about Kardashian's involvement this morning with a cryptic Instagram post from her account – the eighth-most-followed in the world," THR reports.
The season is reportedly titled "Delicate" and is based in some fashion on Danielle Valentine's upcoming novel "Delicate Condition," out in August from Sourcebooks Landmark. The novel is described as a thriller, centering on a woman who believes a sinister force is determined to keep her from becoming pregnant.
