Getting to Know Out Actor Austin P. McKenzie with 11 Adorable Instagram Posts

Unless you're plugged into the Broadway scene or queer celebrity relationships, you may not have heard of Austin P. McKenzie. This energetic stage actor is most known for his incredible performance as Melchoir Gabor in the 2015 stage play "Spring Awakening" and his TV role in the LGBTQ+ history drama "When We Rise."
He's also the partner of "Glee" alum Kevin McHale. The two make for an adorable power couple on social media. Fans enjoy seeing so much positivity between two famous LGBTQ+ people when politicians and ignorant people all over the world are attacking rights such as gay marriage and other queer civil rights. McKenzie is inspiring both on and off the stage, and we're here to give you an inside look at his life through his immense amount of Instagram photos.
McKenzie is literally glowing window-side in this photo from late in 2022. The entertainer teases that he has new music coming out shortly and that fans should expect some incredible songs in the group of new tunes. We especially enjoy how fluffy McKenzie's hairstyle is here, and the sophistication of his glasses perfectly adds to the ensemble of fashion choices.
McKenzie shows off a dapper glittering black sweater alongside his adorable pooch in this December 2022 post. His black nail polish is an ideal addition to what he's wearing and continues to display how divine McKenzie's eye for style is. The actor also requested that his fans help stream his music and enjoy a kiss with someone after reading the post. That sounds like an eventful day to us.
McKenzie decides against much of a caption explaining this face mask in this November 2022 post. Most of the time he's very witty and interesting in his captions, but he decides against one of his typical funny add-ons when we need it most. This isn't necessarily for Halloween because of the time of year, but maybe it was a leftover from the holiday? We also enjoy seeing the actor's dog in the last slide yet again. They're the real star of the show, as most pets always are!
It's our first photo featuring McKenzie's boyfriend, Kevin McHale. The two look happy and healthy together and we couldn't be happier about that. For those thirstier fans McHale wasn't hesitant to show off shirtless in the first photo, while other fans were more interested in McKenzie's blonde hair dye. We don't know why there's a giant spider later in the slideshow, but it's definitely giving us the willies. Eek!
This photo is the first of the batch that appears as if it's done by a professional photographer instead of just by McKenzie himself. The pose and the small smile are both a great look on the actor, and his hair and eyes match the earth tones of the pavement that serves as the background of the image.
