Do you believe in life after love? Cher certainly does as she is once again a single woman after her and boyfriend Alexander "A.E." Edwards have reportedly stuck a fork in their relationship.

As reported by E! News, the couple, who were seemingly engaged at one point, have reportedly, amicably, separated more than a few weeks ago. And considering their difference in age and backgrounds, everything seemed fun while it lasted.

Cher confirmed their relationship last year after a date night in West Hollywood. She tweeted that Edwards was indeed her boyfriend and that she wasn't foolish about where things could go between them.

"Do I wish I was younger, yah," she tweeted about their relationship. "I'm not boo fkn hoo."

After officially rolling out their relationship on social media, the pair have been frequently lovey dovey together. They even showed up to a slew of Grammys parties together this year.

But where did it all go wrong? In March, Cher told E! News that they were working on new music together for her upcoming album.

"Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I'm pretty excited about that," she said. "He's a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I'm happy about that."

Working together as a couple never works out. But time will tell whenever Cher's new album hits.

"I think like any artist, when you've got something good, you're excited," said Cher about Edwards' skills in the studio. Let's hope she's right.

The former couple's most recent public outing was at Versace's fall/winter 2023 fashion show in L.A. on March 12.

During their PDA-filled date night, the 76-year-old was photographed kissing and cuddling her man while enjoying the runway show.

Edwards previously dated Amber Rose for three years before breaking up in August 2021.
