Adult Male Performer Richard Lam May Face Death Penalty in Murder Charge

Adult male performer Richard Lam may face the death penalty for the murder of William Futral and then stealing his car in Tampa, Florida. Futral was the owner and directer at gay porn studio TheGuySite, where Lam performed in multiple scenes, reports the NSFW website Str8UpGayPorn.com.

"While Lam was arrested two weeks ago in Miami following a statewide manhunt, his charging document and other disturbing case details weren't released until today, and Str8Up can now confirm that Lam has been charged with felony capital murder, a crime punishable by the death penalty in Florida."

The charging document reveals that Lam allegedly murdered Futral with some kind of weapon. The first degree murder charge is classified as premeditated. Str8Up also now know that the murder was committed on April 14th, although Futral's dead body wasn't discovered until May 1st, an unimaginable 17 days after he was killed. As Str8Up was first to previously report, a maintenance worker found TheGuySite owner's corpse while doing a wellness check in his apartment.

"If convicted and sentenced to death, the former gay porn star would be able to choose either the electric chair or lethal injection," writes Str8Up.

"As noted below in another case detail record, Florida is still keeping Lam's indictment sealed and Futral's identity confidential, even though Str8UpGayPorn was already able to name him as the victim. Str8Up has requested the indictment and an explanation as to why it's being kept sealed, but have yet to receive a response.

It had been earlier reported that the couple were living together, but had a volatile relationship. "During one encounter in which Str8Up's source was at a studio meeting attended by Lam and Futral, the source could hear Lam screaming at Futral in another room before being asked to leave the building."
