Get to Know Rising Out TikTok Influencer Cameron Tate Hoskins

Shawn Laib READ TIME: 12 MIN.

Cameron Tate Hoskins isn't like the other LGBTQ+ TikTok celebrities you might have come across. Hoskins is one of the rare queer influencers who is from the South (Kentucky, to be specific), who is willing to show off authentic self. He's not afraid to do a random thirst trap, but most of his content is satire or analysis of gender tropes, stereotypes about different types of people, and pushing back against bigotry.

With 1.6 million followers on TikTok, we want to help you get to know Cameron Tate Hoskins a little better with some of his best TikToks.

@tatehoskins when i tell you i was SHAKING 😭

Hoskins talks about how simple acts of kindness or good deeds by others can up their level of attractiveness tenfold. While sitting in his car eating lunch in a supermarket parking lot, he says he watched a man who collected stray shopping carts that weren't his and properly put them back. Observing this type of honest and selfless behavior was an immediate green light for Hoskins to gush about the internal beauty in men who have the decency to do things like this.

@tatehoskins this has been the worst pride month of my life 😭 why do conservatives hate us so much #lgbt #pridemonth ♬ original sound - WannabeEditor

Hoskins humorously addresses the ways that Pride Month has taken a turn for the worse this year due to the bigotry and hatred that spews from certain sectors of American society.

@tatehoskins the woke has ruined another video game! #feminist #fable ♬ original sound - Cameron Tate Hoskins

Hoskins is great at pointing out the hypocrisy that often comes from social media, and here he satirizes this misogynistic comment from Malaysian right-wing blogger Ian Miles Cheong. The writer is spewing that he doesn't understand why female video game characters are no longer sufficiently attractive to his standards, citing the newest title in the "Fable" series as an example. Hoskins hilariously points out that if you simply go outside and touch some grass, maybe you can get in better touch with the world around you instead of getting angry that the pixels on the XBox display don't show gigantic boobs in 4K.

@tatehoskins this is why i dont post thirst traps 😭 #lgbt ♬ DK Rap (From "Donkey Kong 64") - Player2

Hoskins goes shirtless here and shows off his great sense of humor as he tries to get in on the TikTok trend of bouncing his pecs to the "DK Rap" by Grant Kirkhope from the Nintendo 64 classic video game "Donkey Kong 64."

@tatehoskins lord im fired up today 😤🤬 #bully #enoughisenough ♬ original sound - Cameron Tate Hoskins

Hoskins gets fired up about the topic of whether influencers such as himself should take the high road and ignore online bullies, or whether it's better to make a comment retorting their point, letting it be known that it's not OK to make derogatory remarks to people over the internet. This is a very important topic and helps others see that it's okay to fight back when your name is being run through the wringer.
