Sources told CNN that Madonna is back home in her New York residence after a several-day stay in the ICU wing of an NYC hospital, but it sounds like the Queen of Pop was already having a very rough Pride Month.
As reported by TMZ, the "Hung Up" singer was battling a month-long fever before she collapsed. The bacterial infection reportedly compounded because Madonna, ever the rebel, refused to get help because she was so focused on making sure her tour was perfect.
A source close to the pop icon said that she is "in the clear" and on the mend.
In a instagram post, her manager Guy Oseary shared that her "health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected."
Meantime, Madonna will reportedly be pushing back her tour until she fully recovers.
"At this time we need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour," Oseary wrote. "We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."
Longtime friend Rosie O'Donnell also seemed to confirm that she is doing fine with the an Instagram post saying: "She's feeling good 👍🏽 #madonna #love."
Madonna's "Celebration" tour was going to kick off July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, with a grueling schedule that would take her through Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
