Cody Fern Steams Up Web with Sexy Thirst-Trap

READ TIME: 4 MIN.

Since entering the Ryan Murphyverse, Cody Fern has established himself as one of the edgier young actors in Hollywood. And he's getting plenty of web attention this week with his latest thirst-trap.

In an industry where the norm is the macho type, Fern has pushed the envelope, often appearing at red carpet events in gender-fluid looks.

But this week it is a series of more revealing social media pics of Fern that are causing him to trend on Twitter. Fern's Instagram slideshow was immediately screenshot and shared on other platforms. In it he sits naked on a bed, shaggy-haired and holding a tablet with his left arm and leg shielding his privates.

In a photo taken from Instagram Stories and reposted to Twitter by a fan account in March, he is seen standing naked looking at his phone with a rose emoji strategically placed over his crotch.

The 35-year-old made his American television debut in 2018 as one of Andrew Cunanan's victims on "American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace." Later that year he starred as the lead on the eighth season of "American Horror Story," called "Apocalypse," where he played a character, Michael Langdon, who was the Antichrist. He was featured in the ninth and tenth seasons of Murphy's horror anthology, as well as the final season of "House of Cards."

Fern grew up in rural Australia and initially had plans to work in finance; but it was seeing Cate Blanchett in her two "Elizabeth" movies that inspired him to pursue acting. He pursued training, then found stage roles (including the lead in the acclaimed Royal National Theatre production of "The War Horse"). In 2014, his Wiki entry reads, "Fern was the recipient of the annual Heath Ledger Scholarship by Australians in Film, an award aimed at financially and professionally supporting actors of Australian descent. This includes, besides a cash fund, a two-year scholarship at Los Angeles' Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre and mentorship from the father of actor Heath Ledger."

Recently he has appeared in a pair of films: a supporting role in the Mark Wahlberg-helmed "Father Stu" in 2022 and the acclaimed queer indie "Fairyland," which is currently on the festival circuit, but has yet to release an opening date.

Fern also played one of the primary antagonists in EA's single-player video game, "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor," which released in April this past year.

The Australian actor has been circumspect in sharing details of his personal life. While there is speculation about his sexuality, he has not made any statements coming out.
