2023 Rewind: Joey Mills Hopes for an Even Hotter Sequel to Troye Sivan's 'Rush'

There may be a sequel to Troye Sivan's "Rush" if gay adult actor Joey Mills has his way.

Three weeks ago Sivan described his video for "Rush" this way to British GQ: "It's definitely the most dancey, the most unapologetic club [song], [inspired by] all of the experiences that I've had over the last two and a half years. To just be with people and to feel so connected, to be moving as one being and to feel hot and sweaty and sexy and hopeful."

The song also shares a name with a popular poppers brand.

"Released last week, the video for 'Rush' finds Sivan doing keg stands and frolicking on a crowded dance floor until dawn. It also puts the Australian singer-songwriter's queer sexuality front and center, much like his previous videos for 'Bloom' and 'Lucky Strike,' writes the HuffPost.

Now adult gay star Joey Mills wants to join the party by teasing Troye Sivan on TikTok with a question: "Just imagine if I could get @troyesivan to make a alt music vid that wasn't safe for work." He added as a comment: "@Troye Sivan i think this is me officially shooting my shot"

It apparently hit the mark. No long after posting the video, Sivan wrote: "I won't star in it but let me contact Capitol Records."

"This may be the best thing I have ever woken up to," a groggy Mills says, wrapped in a blanket when reading it. He ends with: "I'm waiting on a response from them. So let me know, cuz I'm waiting and ready!"
