Ricky Martin Says He's Closer with Ex Jwan Yosef After Divorce

Puerto Rican pop star prince Ricky Martin wants you to know that he and ex-husband Jwan Yosef are remain close family and friends after their recently announced divorce. In fact, the only way they could be any closer is if they were married, but that ship has apparently sailed.
As reported by People, Martin opened up to Telemundo Puerto Rico and spilled the beans on what led to the decision for the couple to call a quits on their marriage.
"Jwan and I will always be family. We have two children together that we will raise together," said Martin, referring to daughter Lucia, 4, and Renn, 3. Martin is also father to twin boys Matteo and Valentino, 14.
Martin assured that the split was not sudden and has been in the works "pre-pandemic." In short, a long time.
"This didn't just happen," he explained. "We've been planning this situation for a long time now – pre-pandemic." He added, "We went through the highs and lows. We cried together, and we laughed together."
By the time the public found out about their split, "we had already been through a solid process of grief," said Martin. "We knew this had to happen for our own good and for the well-being of our children. We're better than ever, and we're single."
Single and still sexy, I'd say.
