A preview of Gael García Bernal's fabulous turn as a gay luchador in the highly anticipated film "Cassandro" is finally here, and we could not be more excited.

As reported by Collider, a preview released by Prime Video shows Bernal's getting into character to take to the ring, with a special appearance by Bad Bunny, who is known to be a fan of the square circle.

The film tells the true tale of gay wrestler Saúl Armendáriz, who would frequently cross the US-Mexico border in the early 1980s from El Paso, Texas, to compete in lucha libre wrestling matches. Then a new trainer convinces him to perform as an "exótico," a male wrestler who performs in drag, and his story takes off from there.

So far, critics have been kind to the film, scoring an impressive 97% fresh rate on the Rotten Tomatoes from 39 reviews. And all in all, the film looks fun, like Bernal's portrayal of Armendáriz, with a general consensus that he steals the whole show.

Academy Award and Emmy-winning director Roger Ross Williams is in the producing seat for the film, with a script co-authored by David Teague.

Also rounding out the cast is Perla De La Rosa, as Saul's mother Yocasta, Joaquín Cosío in the role of Lorenzo, and Raúl Castillo as Gerardo/El Comandante. Also a special guest member of the cast is playing themselves, none other than Lucha Libre legend El Hijo Del Santo/
