Labor Day Weekend Thirst-trapping with the Efron Brothers

READ TIME: 3 MIN.

How about a Labor Day thirst-trap from the Efron brothers?

The 35-year-old Zac Efron posted pics of himself and Dylan Efron, his 31-year old brother, on a boating outing at Idaho's Lake Coeur d'Alene. "In addition to the two genetically blessed Efron brothers posing together to flaunt their toned bods, Zac included videos of him and Dylan practicing their golf swing," reports the Daily Mail.

"Sporting an elegant watch on one wrist, the '17 Again' actor flashed a giant smile – a year after he admitted the changes in his facial shape were the result of him nearly breaking his jaw on a granite fountain."

In an interview with Men's Health published last year, Zefron addressed his cosmetic surgery. He explained how he broke his jaw in a household accident. "He'd been running through his house in socks and slipped, smacking his chin against the granite corner of a fountain. He lost consciousness, and when he woke up, he recalls, his chin bone was hanging off his face."

The injury was first noted in "April 2021, after Efron appeared in a clip promoting an Earth Day special from Bill Nye, the Internet again came alive with chatter about Efron's body, this time with speculation that he had had plastic surgery on his face."

It turned out the balance of his facial muscles were thrown out of joint and the muscles on the inside of his face and jaw had to compensate. He worked with a physical therapy specialist to compensate for this and took some time off from public view. But in the interim, some muscles – his masseters – just grew, he told Men's Health. "They just got really, really big."

Efron says he didn't know about Jaw-gate until his mother called to ask if he'd gotten plastic surgery, because, though he appreciates that social media can be useful for promoting projects he cares about, he generally avoids it. This is a survival tactic, one that he has been honing since he became a public figure at 17. "If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do," he says, "I definitely wouldn't be able to do this work."

Perhaps that is why it has been two years since the Efrons thirst-trapped together. That was when the pair were bungee jumping in Australia.

While Zac is the higher profile of the brothers, "Dylan has established his own career in Hollywood outside of his brother's famous shadow, serving as a physical production coordinator on several films including 'American Sniper' and 'The Accountant'," adds the DM.

He also produced Zac's 2020 Netflix series "Down to Earth With Zac Efron," in which the star "traveled across the globe to find the road to better health and a more eco-friendly mindset," the Mail recounted.

The DM adds that Dylan has demonstrated more of a strength as a filmmaker.

"He has 32K followers on YouTube channel alone, where he created videos of himself facing his fears and exploring the world with other intrepid explorers. "

Zac is set to appear in December's "The Iron Claw." "In addition to several film projects, he's set to host the survivalist series 'Killing Zac Efron,' where he ventures deep into the jungle to try to survive in a classic man versus nature setup series."
