Openly gay "Looking" star Russell Tovey may be looking again soon, himself, as reports say that he and longtime partner Steve Brockman have called it quits.
"The 41-year-old was in a relationship with from Steve Brockman from 2016, and apart from a brief hiatus in 2019, they have been relatively solid since," UK newspaper the Mirror reports.
"It's believed they have now broken up, however, after eagle-eyed fans spotted Russell's unfollowing of the retired adult film entertainer on Instagram earlier this week.
"Steve, 39, has also unfollowed the 'Being Human' actor, sparking rumors that the VIP couple have called it quits on their longterm romance."
The pair have not made any announcement about a split, but in addition to having uncoupled on Instagram, Tovey recently took to that platform to post a photo of himself and his dog watching sunset on a beach.
The photo was originally captioned, "It's just you and me, kid," according to UK newspaper the Daily Mail.
"The 'Gavin and Stacey' star then reedited the caption to read: 'This is all for you my son...' " the Mail noted.
"With Steve nowhere to be seen in the beachy shot, it appears the personal trainer and rugby coach may no longer be on the scene," the Mirror interpreted.
The pair had split previously, in 2018, though they reconciled in 2019. They had been engaged when the 2018 split happened, and, the Mail recalled, Tovey sold his engagement ring and then gave the proceeds to his brother "to spend on sweets when he took his family to Disney World."
Russell seemingly made light of himself and Brockman seemingly not resuming the engagement once they had reunited. In comments to the Telegraph in 2020, Tovey compared their relationship to a board game, saying, "Is it like Snakes and Ladders? Do you go back to the beginning of the game and have to work your way back up again?"
