U.S. Rep. George Santos (R-NY) becomes emotional as he talks about the situation in Israel during a break in a House Republican caucus meeting at the Longworth House Office Building on October 13, 2023 in Washington, DC. House Republicans continue to debate their pick for Speaker after their initial nominee, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), withdrew his name from the race after failing to secure the number of votes needed. The full House of Representatives is expected to vote on a replacement for former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) after he was ousted last week. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

Gay Rights Advocate (?) George Santos Believes He Takes on Islamic Group on Homophobia

Leave it to George Santos to bring an insane (and self-promoting) angle to the grim scene in the Middle East. The disgraced New York congressman according to Radar engaged in an argument with what he thought was a social media account from Islamic terror organization. On X (ex-Twitter) Santos posted a question regarding Hamas and gay rights to an account called "Taliban Public Relations Department, Commentary."

"Santos, who identifies as a gay man, asked, 'As a gay man, I'm curious: Since Hamas is unlikely to have any tall buildings left, I'm curious how they intend to execute gay people in the future. Does @LGBTQ4Palestine have any idea?'," Radar reports.

What Santos did not know is that "Taliban Public Relations Department, Commentary" is a parody account.

And they gave a tongue-in-cheek response: "Mr Santos, we are very happy that you will not be having any offspring. I mean, who wants more of you?"

Still not realizing he was in a prank account, Santos responded: "Very on brand for you to assume gays don't have kids."

To which the prank account returned: "Mr Santos, this statement is very confusing for us. Are you suggesting that you can get pregnant? Have you given birth before and if yes, how? What you're saying doesn't make sense."

The "Taliban Public Relations Department" was created in July 2023, has gained more than 62,000 followers with its trollish tweets and satirical content.
