Social media influencer Max Emerson is looking for help to fund a few special projects.

Announced Tuesday, Emerson is looking to raise $30,000 to produce a limited edition print of his new novel, "The Sparkle Club."

The book follows a "gay-baiting influencer and social justice warrior" who is forced to do a summer of community service in rural Ohio after he gets canceled. This, all while living with the family who's lives he destroyed.

The first edition print will reportedly be limited to 1,000 copies with a signed one-of-a-kind Polaroid picture from Emerson himself.

Additionally, Emerson added that proceeds will also support the production of a queer independent film shot in Japan by the Tokyo Cowboys called "Aichaku."

"Aichaku means attachment, in this case between a gay American expat and a questioning Japanese construction worker," he explained on his Kickstarter page. "Not only will you be supporting some incredible queer projects with cross cultural reach, I've allocated budget to create some incredible, exclusive incentives."

Emerson's campaign will run through the end of this month, and he includes a sneak peek of the book's first chapter online.
