Wedding Bell Blues: Chris Appleton Files for Divorce from 'White Lotus' Star Lukas Gage

After a splashy Vegas wedding officiated by Kim Kardashian, Chris Appleton filed for divorce today from "The White Lotus" actor Lukas Gage in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.

"Appleton beelined it to court Monday morning, and lists the couple's date of separation as Friday. On the divorce docs, obtained by TMZ, Chris lists 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split, and reveals the couple has a prenup in place," writes TMZ.

The couple's wedding was covered on the Hulu reality show "The Kardashians" this past weekend.

Appleton, 40, who is Kardashian's hair stylist, got hitched to Gage, 28, with the help of Kim and Shania Twain in a Vegas ceremony at the Little White Chapel back in April.

The wedding came just weeks after the couple officially went public. Appleton first went public in February about his relationship with Gage, whose career is on the upswing since he appeared on first season of "The White Lotus" as a randy hotel worker who has drug-fueled sex with his boss, played by Murray Bartlett. Today reported that "Gage and Appleton sparked dating rumors when they posted photos on social media from their joint trip to Mexico."

Gage gushed about Appleton, who is British, during an interview on the "Today" show, saying, "I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love. He's a good-looking man. Something about being in London, I got a taste of the Brits and couldn't help myself."

Appleton double-down about the relationship in March. "I'm very happy, very much in love," he told Barrymore. "And I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special."

Appleton and Gage asked Kardashian to officiate the wedding, which took place in April. The reality superstar also arranged a surprise – a song by Shania Twain who serenaded the couple shortly before the ceremony.
