Watch: Dixon Dallas is Back in the Queer Country Saddle, Needing a New Boyfriend in 'Leave This All Behind'

In case you were needing a dose of queer country music, Dixon Dallas (alter ego of rapper Jake Hill) has come riding in with a fresh staple of the genre: A breakup song.

"I think I need a new boyfriend that ain't like you," the song's lyrics proclaim, "one that treats me like a queen..."

Unlike his previous queer country hits "Good Lookin" (which features a description of energetic anal sex), "F150" (which, named after a Ford truck, is also about energetic anal sex), and "Something to Feel" (which seemingly celebrates rough sex), the cowboy hat-wearing crooner's new video focuses on the lyrics as they appear in written form on sheets of notebook paper.

"Somehow our little piece of heaven turned into a lot of hell in this house," the words narrate. "You went from lover to fighter and threw the gas on the fire with no concern for me – you're burning me down."

As the song continues, the narrator wrestles with uncertainty but the refrain circles back to the conclusion that "Life is short, I don't wanna live it unsure – I think it's time to leave this all behind."

Brighter days beckon, though.

"I need a new someone that ain't like him, yeah I hate to say it, I don't wanna do this again," the third verse says.

With the queer country songs stacking up at this rate, can it be long before Dixon Dallas brings out an album of his own?

Watch and listen to the new song below.
