Andy Cohen is finally addressing the lawsuits and accusations lobbed against him by current and former Bravo stars alleging sexism, racism and substance abuse on the set of "The Real Housewives."
In a revealing interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cohen admitted that all the allegations were "hurtful." However, in true Madonna fashion, Cohen shared that he had absolutely "no regrets."
"I'm incredibly proud of the close relationships I've built in my 20 years at the network," said Cohen about his time at Bravo, as "Watch What Happens Live" celebrates 15 years on the air and lots of iconic "Real Housewives" moments. "I'm super proud of what we've built and of everybody who's been a part of it. I think most people involved with these shows have been very grateful for the platform, but there will always be a few with complaints. Obviously, it's no fun to be a target."
Cohen revealed that he is a believer of the age-old adage that everything happens for a reason.
"I think everything that happens in your life informs the next thing that happens in your life. That's the way I look at all this," said Cohen. "I know what the truth is and I know how I've conducted myself, and I walk tall every day on that."
Earlier this year, two housewives hit Cohen with allegations.
Former "Real Housewives" star Brandi Glanville accused Cohen of sexual harassment, alleging that Cohen sent her a drunken video message and told Glanville of "his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime."
Soon after, "Real Housewives" star Leah McSweeney made her own allegations, alleging that Cohen "engages in cocaine use with Housewives and other 'Bravolebrities" and plays favorites with those he uses drugs with.
Despite the rumors swirling about Cohen's behavior, everyone knows that Cohen means business. And it seems from his interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he is taking everything in stride.
