After the Wednesday night finale of "Survivor" season 46, a teaser for season 47 of the show left viewers wondering: Is that Jon Lovett?

The comedian, former Obama administration speechwriter, and "Pod Save America" host was spotted in the fold with other contestants, and his participation in the show was confirmed by his colleague, Crooked Media founder Jon Favreau, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

"What did I tell you? Eat Pray Lovett," wrote Favreau, who tweeted an ad for the show.

"Jon Lovett on SURVIVOR 47? This is Mike White-level casting!" tweeted Evan Ross Katz.

And Lovett's comedic chops do not disappoint in the show previews. In the trailer he recounts, "I have no outdoor skills. What am I doing here? I went camping as a cub scout, I threw up and went home."

In addition to his plum positions as a speechwriter and podcaster, Lovett was in a relationship with Ronan Farrow for reportedly 10 years, and then engaged, before they called it quits as a couple.

Although they didn't make an official break up announcement, Lovett reportedly made it known in a March 2023 episode of his podcast, "Lovett or Leave It," that he was single after a long relationship.

Also in the season 47 cast appears to be podcaster Aysha Welch, who often covers "Survivor" happenings for Rob Has a Podcast

"OMG @AyshaLikeAsia and @jonlovett ????? My podcast worlds colliding. I am literally stunned. I'm speechless. #Survivor47" wrote one excited social media user.

Now we wonder who else will pop up in season 47 of "Survivor." Will you be watching?
