"The Last of Us" zombie zaddy Pedro Pascal has just unveiled a new collaboration with beer brand Corona, and he suddenly has us all thirsty.

In an interview with GQ, Pascal talked over the partnership and spent a little time on sharing a few details about what brought him and singer Omar Apollo so close.

If you haven't been keeping up, Apollo has a new album coming, with a song noticeably titled "Pedro" on the list of tracks. Pascal stays mum on the collaboration, but he makes it known that Apollo is a "good friend" and he loves his music.

"He's also like me, someone who grew up bilingual," says Pascal. "He loves Corona, I've had Corona with him. And so I love being a friend in each other's journeys, and uplifting whatever I can creatively, supporting whatever creative experience that he's having as a friend, as an artist, as a Latino, as a Spanish speaker."

Then at the moment when Pascal shared the details of what got him "a little drunk" (tequila and Corona) on the night of his Screen Actors Guild awards, Apollo apparently popped up on his screen.

"Oh, my gosh, that's so funny. Omar just texted me," says Pascal, during the interview.

And now we can only wonder what that might have been about. Read Pascal's full GQ interview.
