The hit Peacock reality competition series "The Traitors" is coming back as host Alan Cumming announced Wednesday the cast of Season 3 exclusively on the "Today" show.

"The new season of 'The Traitors' cast is unlocked at last," he said mischievously before unfolding a parchment similar to the ones the contestants receive.

Season 3 will feature 21 new celebrities who will battle it out to see which "Faithful" or "Traitor" will be left standing.

Of the 21 celebrities, a number of gay icons made the cut ranging from "Real Housewives" legends to a "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner.

As GLAAD reports, "The star-studded cast features several LGBTQ stars including 'RuPaul's Drag Race' winner and 'We're Here's' Bob the Drag Queen, 'Selling Sunset's' Chrishell Stause, 'The Bachelorette's' Gabby Windey, 'The Biggest Loser's' Bob Harper, and British Royal Lord Ivar Mountbatten."

Bob the Drag Queen is the only "Traitors" contestant from "Drag Race," mirroring a similar situation from Season 2 where Peppermint was the only "Drag Race" star and became a target early on after being singled out by "Real World" and "The Challenge" star Trishelle Cannatella.

Peppermint was voted off Season 2 after just one episode where she was falsely accused of being a traitor by Cannatella. As previously reported on EDGE, Peppermint "drew unmistakeable parallels between how she was treated on the show and the suspicion and hostility with which how LGBTQ+ and gender-nonconforming people are generally treated in the culture."

"People have to rely on the biases that they bring into the game, which end up targeting whoever's the most different from the group," Peppermint said in an interview with Andy Cohen, host of "The Traitors" Season 2 reunion episode. "And in those situations, people like me don't really fare that well."

The cast will also feature icons from "Survivor," stars from "Big Brother" and some of the most hateable names in reality television.
