Fans of HBO's "Euphoria" can rest assured that there beloved teen drama is coming back for a Season 3 with all their favorite actors, including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer.

However, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, the show will include a huge twist: A time jump.

Considering this, the characters reportedly won't be returning to the infamous East Highland High School, and creator and writer Sam Levinson is working on the story.

"There's been a lot of back and forth," said HBO boss Casey Bloys about the time jump. "When you take it out of [high school], there's a lot of back and forth about where to set it, and how far in the future to set it, and all that stuff."

He added, "But I think he's got a take that he's excited about, and he's busy writing."

Ditching the high school angle could surely free up the show's core stars to return to reprise their roles, now that they all have become stars in their own right outside of the show.

That sentiment has been echoed by others, including the show's star Zendaya, who said in April that she is open to reprising her role of Rue, but unaware of when that would happen.

"If it's right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course," said Zendaya in April about returning to the series to play her character Rue. "But it's beyond me

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Elordi joked that he would soon have to be de-aged to play a high schooler.

"I hope it's soon, or they're going to have to Benjamin Button me or something," he said. "I'm going to have a bad back walking down the hallway, you know?"

Now it seems, with a time jump, that won't be necessary.
