Louisa Jacobson, the star of HBO's "The Gilded Age" and daughter of Meryl Streep, made it Instagram official with her girlfriend with snaps posted on Streep's birthday - and she came out in the process.

"On Saturday, June 22, the daughter of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer celebrated her new relationship with Anna Blundell in an Instagram post," People Magazine detailed.

A photo of the two standing under a red light is captioned "blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb ❤️‍🔥🏳️‍🌈".

Jacobson, the magazine added, "shared the sweet snapshot of herself with Blundell, coincidentally, on her mother's 75th birthday."

Well-wishers filled the post's comments with supportive messages and congratulations.

"I'm here for this era ❤️" one fan posted, while another declared, "HAPPY PRIDE OMFG YES".

"We'll support you in every era kiddo! 🙌❤️" another said.

The pic is one of a set of images that include a headline about "lesbian fashion," as well as several selfies. While the caption revealed the relationship, Jacobson has been posting pictures of herself with Blundell for some time.

"Jacobson also shared a collection of photos on June 5 that included another selfie of the couple," People Mag recalled.

"Meanwhile," the magazine noted, "Blundell shared a photo of the pair with red lighting in December 2023. In her post, she's looking away from the camera as Jacobson looked directly at the camera."

Jacobson leads "The Gilded Age" in the role of Marian Brook, an orphaned young woman who moves to New York City in the 1880s to live with her wealthy Aunt Agnes (Christine Baranski) and Agnes' younger spinster sister, Ada (Cynthia Nixon). While Ada married a parson in Season 2 (only to be widowed soon after), Marian's marriage prospects continue to be a recurring plot point in the series.
