And just like that, HBO's "And Just Like ..." is adding more men to its growing cast of characters.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake, and Logan Marshall-Green are joining the show in recurring guest roles, and Sebastiano Pigazzi and Dolly Wells have been upgraded to series regulars for the upcoming third season.
Fans of the show can expect Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) to return. No word on whether Kim Cattrall will make another cameo as her beloved character Samantha, but we do know that Sara Ramirez as Che will not be back on the show.
And, of course, the extended cast of characters, including Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, Alexa Swinton, and John Corbett as Aidan, will return.
A departure from its original sexy "Sex and the City" roots, the show's revival mostly focuses on the characters as they navigate friendships, changing family dynamics, and getting older.
Stars Parker, Nixon, and Davis have been spotted around New York City filming the show, adding to the excitement over what season 3 will bring.
Last season left off with Aidan leaving Carrie to take care of his son. But here's hoping she gets back to dating New York's eligible bachelors, like in previous seasons.
Developed and executive produced by Michael Patrick King, John Melfi, Parker, Davis, Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, and Elisa Zuritsky are also producers on the revival. The original "Sex and the City" was created by Darren Star, based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell.
