Emell Adolphus READ TIME: 1 MIN.
The Queen of Pop teased that she is back in the writing chair for her upcoming biopic, and it has a new name and a familiar face attached to star in project, according to multiple reports.
Madonna took to Instagram to post some sultry snaps of her leering over a typewriter, and she teased that the long-awaited project has a new name, reportedly called "Who's That Girl." It is, of course, a nod to her hit 1987 song and film of the same name. But there is more.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, "Ozark" star Julia Garner is still attached the film and will star as The Queen of Pop herself.
No word yet on what costumes or what eras will be included, but Madonna's fans call almost bet that a cone-shaped bra will show up.
"I Need A-lot of Bandz to make this...........OKAY 🍸💵🤑.
(Story of my life)," Madonna captioned the gallery of photos showing her writing, suggesting that she is looking for someone to fund the project.
Of course, Madonna's pen hasn't been the only pen to touch the project. She recruited "Juno" and "Jennifer's Body" writer Diablo Cody to write a first draft of the screenplay. After Cody did her part and turned her focus to other projects, Madonna enlisted the help Erin Cressida Wilson to rework what they have.
Sounds like Madonna wants to get the story of her life just write.
