Gay Twitter Isn't Holding Back the Thirst for the 2024 Olympic Games

Andrea Marks Joseph READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics are in full swing, filled with drama, high stakes, and hot people performing magnificent displays of athleticism. We're being introduced to athletes from all over the world at a staggering pace, many of them distractingly gorgeous and inspiring thirst at levels previously unseen. Gay Twitter (now called X) is enjoying every moment of it. We've rounded up some of the best Olympics thirst posts for your perusal.

The rugby players stripping down to their underwear to swap shorts, the sculpted arms of elite gymnasts, the skintight swimwear worn to increase aerodynamic speed in the swimming pool doing double-duty and increasing the heart rates of horny people everywhere – the people of X celebrate it all. Like the gorgeous gold medalists we've been watching closely for days now, let's dive in!

While there is, of course, incredible athleticism on display and demonstrations of skill beyond our comprehension, we are most thankful for the cultural enrichment that the Olympics bring. For example, this unforgettable introduction to the sacred tradition of sweaty sportsmen swapping shorts on the field.

Between the dripping wet, muscular men and their teeny-tiny scraps of swimwear, the swimming, volleyball, and diving events have been a hot favorite.

One of the most educational aspects of the Olympics is that we have been introduced to many exciting new sports, impressive underdog teams, and important jobs like the skillful massaging of an athlete's pecs as he craves relief from the strenuous work of making his nation proud.

We highly recommend tuning in to the Olympics whenever you can. There's nothing like a hot athlete to motivate your passion for a sport, and there's certainly no shortage of hot people competing this year. With many more Olympic events running until August 11, we'll be locked in to the hottest elite athletes and the thirstiest tweets about them, reporting back here with the best of the best.
