Pole Vaulter Anthony Ammirati Offered Hefty Sum to do Adult Entertainment, Jokes about his Celebrity on TikTok

The overnight celebrity of pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati has been something he didn't expect (or he would have tucked), but has led to an interesting business opportunity. Not surprisingly since his ample manhood ruined his chances for Olympic gold, there is interest in him pursuing a work in adult entertainment.

"TMZ Sports obtained a letter from popular XXX site CamSoda ... which extended the offer to the viral track and field star after his dong got in the way and knocked down the crossbar during the group rounds over the weekend."

CamSoda VP Daryn Parker wrote the 21-year-old Frenchmen: "If it was up to me, I'd award you for what everyone else saw, your talent below the belt.

"As a lover of crotch-centric activities, I'd love to offer you up to $250,000 in exchange for a 60-minute webcam show, in which you show off your goods, minus the crossbar, of course."

"It's not clear if Ammirati would be open to the reported job. In the meantime, he is reflecting on the big miss,"

He did express his regret in a statement to the French Athletics Federation.

"It's a big disappointment," he told the French Athletics Federation. "I'm a bit gutted, because I didn't miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings."

And he appears to be joking about his equipment malfunction in a TikTok video he stares off into space while eating a slice of pizza in the Olympic village. Over the video, the first-time Olympian wrote in French, "POV: tu fais plus de buzz pour ton paquet que pour tes perfs," which roughly translates to, "POV: You create more buzz for your package than your performances. He continued to joke in the caption, which translates to, "I don't really know if I should take it well or not 😂."
