'The Traitors' is Coming Back for Two More Seasons

Peacock is bringing its Emmy-winning "The Traitors" back for not one, but two more seasons (its fourth and fifth) with host Alan Cumming.

That means more outrageously chic outfits from Cumming and even more backstabbing, twists, and turns from your favorite celebrities, according to Variety.

The announcement comes just as shooting for season 3 of the show wrapped after the second season was nominated for four Emmys. Those Emmys included outstanding reality competition program, outstanding directing for a reality series, outstanding cinematography for a reality series, and Cumming was nominated for outstanding host for a competition program.

What's more is Cumming and the show creators seem to be aware of the show's quirkiness and are leaning in.

Cumming previously told Variety that he plays an exaggerated version of himself on the show, with his assistant, "Fergus," and his wardrobe very much a part of that.

"Chewing the scenery" is how Cumming described himself. "I really love that. It's kind of dichotomy of absolute improvise, being in the moment, and then these big sort of set pieces. I can't tell you how much I love this show."

He added, "It's such a left field thing for me to have done at this stage in my career. I think that's also interesting for me, as the kind of performer I am, to be sort of subverting the notion of a host as well. Because I'm obviously hosting the show, but I'm also doing it in character."

Cumming shared that he's played host before, but "The Traitors" is different, with his previous gigs having been "nothing like this."

Variety reported that season 3 of "The Traitors" will premiere early next year with 21 new contestants, including Bob Harper ("The Biggest Loser"), Bob The Drag Queen ("RuPaul's Drag Race"), Britney Haynes ("Big Brother"), Carolyn Wiger ("Survivor"), Chanel Ayan ("The Real Housewives of Dubai"), Chrishell Stause ("Selling Sunset"), Ciara Miller ("Summer House"), Danielle Reyes ("Big Brother"), Dolores Catania ("The Real Housewives of New Jersey"), Dorinda Medley ("The Real Housewives of New York City"), Dylan Efron ("Down to Earth with Zac Efron"), Gabby Windey ("The Bachelorette"), Jeremy Collins ("Survivor"), Lord Ivar Mountbatten (British royal), Nikki Garcia (WWE Hall of Famer), Rob Mariano ("Survivor," "Deal or No Deal Island"), Robyn Dixon ("The Real Housewives of Potomac"), Sam Asghari (actor and model), Tom Sandoval ("Vanderpump Rules"), Tony Vlachos ("Survivor"), and Wells Adams ("Bachelor in Paradise").
