Netflix has new promo images for the upcoming ninth season of "Queer Eye," in which a crew of lifestyle pros who happen to be queer use their makeover chops to life-changing effect. The streamer isn't shying away from a change in the cast, which sees interior design maven Jeremiah Brent replace original cast member Bobby Berk.

If anything, the streamer is leaning into the Brent's addition, noting that "the series is getting a little makeover of its own" as "Brent is joining the cast alongside original hosts Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Tan France.

"But their mission remains the same: transforming the lives of everyday people from the inside out," Netflix adds.

"Brent stands at the center of the new first look image," Variety noted, while in a poster image the new "Queer Eye" guy on the block "sits on top of a giant slot machine while the rest of the group is arranged in front of it."

The slot machine imagery is apt for the new season's locale.

"You know what they say: In Vegas, what happens here, stays queer," Netflix quips. "So, for their ninth season, 'Queer Eye''s Fab Five are looking to make big things happen for a handful of heroes living in Sin City."

The upcoming season "features heroes 'from a former showgirl struggling to regain her confidence to a dedicated librarian in need of a change'," Variety noted, quoting from Netflix.

The streamer's early emphasis on Brent isn't limited to the new season's first-look imagery. Netflix also profiled the cast's new addition.

"Based in New York City, Brent is the founder of his own full- service interior design firm, Jeremiah Brent Design, which launched in 2012 with locations in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as the lifestyle brand Atrio," the streamer details.

"With a finely honed intuition and sophisticated sensibility, Brent has worked his magic on countless properties across the world. But no matter the home, Brent begins each project by developing an in-depth familiarity with his clients' emotional lives and personal journeys before personally installing each and every space – making him a natural fit for the 'Queer Eye' family."

The bio takes note that "Brent is married to fellow interior designer Nate Berkus, with whom he shares two young children. The couple frequently collaborate on a host of high-profile projects, including the HGTV docuseries 'The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project'."

Brent gushed last month about what a happy occasion filming the new season was.

"I can tell you how much I cried, which was an uncomfortable amount," Brent told Page Six in comments he made during an event for a new line he created for Crate & Kids.

"I got to laugh and cry and be silly, funny and vulnerable and strong and all these different things and it was really beautiful," Brent said.

Saying that things "couldn't have been better" with the show's longtime cast, all of whom except for Berk returned after the show's eighth season, Brent enthused, "I think people are going to see a really strong bond."

Viewers can see for themselves when Season 9's ten episodes drop at Netflix on Dec. 11.
