Nikko Santo Pietro became an overnight sensation after he and his mother, Vanna White from "Wheel of Fortune," made a cooking video. The hot 30-year-old is flattered - but staying down to earth.

The video "went viral" last week, according to UK newspaper the Daily Mail, though it was Pietro that was really cooking for many viewers.

Talking with Entertainment Tonight, Nikko explained how his mother's fans took to him and shared his famous mother's response to the sudden surge of interest in the young real estate agent.

"You're just innocently trying to tell us [about] Uncle Roy's chicken, and the internet is like, 'Vanna, you've been keeping a secret from us!'" ET host Diedre Behar said.

It's true; as People Magazine recounted, "'Vanna where have you been hiding Nikko?' one follower commented. 'He's GORGEOUS 😍.'"

Another of White's fans "even went as far as to ask if Nikko was "on the menu too 👀," People added.

"Of course, it's flattering," Pietro told Behar, adding that his mother "turned to me and said, 'Is this what viral means?'"

Later in the interview, Pietro talked about where he'd like to go next, emphasizing "building out my personal brand" and doing more on-camera work. As for more cooking, why not? "My father is a restauranteur," he noted.QA

The surprising thing might be that it's only now that Pietro has come to be acclaimed as a "heartthrob." He's active on Instagram, posting content to show off properties and proving himself as adept and at ease with the camera's gaze.

"I always loved being in front of the camera, and I work really hard on my social media, and that's a big part of what I do," he shared, "so it feels natural and good."

He also shares tidbits about his life, including his workout routine.

However, this top-shelf hottie is off the market: Pietro has been involved with singer Easae for some time, the Mail noted. Talking about his girlfriend, Pietro called her "amazing" and "an absolute sweetheart," and disclosed that her song "Karaoke" is about him, saying, "it's really sweet that she did that."

In any case, he's not the sort to get swept off his feet by sudden viral fame.

"I think a lot of it too, people see me as this heartthrob and they're thirsty for me and all this stuff, and it's just really, I love it all," he mused, "but it's really good to remember the meaningful things in life and to just kind of dial it back."

By "meaningful," he explained, he was referring to "Doing a lot of charity work, working hard every day, that's what it is to me, just making an impact."
