It's tough enough being a teenager. All the raging hormones, bad complexion and parental interference. Now imagine if every full moon you not only lost all your inhibitions but also became a full-fledged fangs-and-all werewolf. In Season 2 of the MTV Original Series "Teen Wolf" the body count increases, the danger doubles... and the buff shirtless guys abound! This whimsical allegory on teen angst - with a little of the supernatural thrown in - has the quick wit of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and a cast hotter than "Twilight."
At Beacon Hills High School, Scott (Tyler Posey) is just one of the guys... minding his grades, making the team, dating a gorgeous girlfriend - and hoping her dad doesn't find him sneaking into her room at night, especially since he's the head of the local team of werewolf hunters... and Scott has a penchant for howling at the moon. Scott doesn't run with the rest of the pack. This lone wolf toes the line of keeping his killer instincts in check and using his lupine powers for good.
When a new sheriff comes to the town, the monsters are being hunted - but exactly who the real monsters are isn't as clear as night and day. After the brutal murder of one of their family members, Argent decides to speed up his daughter Allison's training, turning her into one of his pack hunters. Is Scott even safe from his own girlfriend?
It's up to Scott and his friends, including Stiles and Allison, to keep order and stop Derek, the local alpha, from turning more people into werewolves - no matter how hot and desirable the newbies are; all while keeping the town from being overrun from countless other murderous creatures, stealing kisses in the hallway, and trying to make curfew.
"Teen Wolf," Season 2, is sexy and fun! Its cast is engaging, and for any one looking to fulfill that vacancy left from those other vampires, it's time to take up a new monster and wolf out! The DVD is packed with bonus features, alternate and deleted scenes, a gag reel, and -�wait for it -�a shirtless montage. They saved the best for last.
