Teen Wolf - Season 4
JC Alvarez READ TIME: 2 MIN.
The tagline for Teen Wolf Season 4 says it all: "Can't go back." After one of the most trying times in their supernaturally adolescent lives, Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Kira are still catching up with all of the ferocious energy from last year. So how do they keep the energy alive? They head to Mexico to party at one of the hottest raves in country, but what they really are in search of is some answers.
Tyler Posey leads the cast as the "alpha" ready to do whatever it takes to keep his pack alive, especially after the loss of his one true love, Allison. Getting Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) back is paramount, so Scott has Stiles (Dylan O'Brien breakout star of the summer blockbuster "The Maze Runner") negotiate for his life while the rest of the team attempt a rescue, but getting him out of the club may not be as easy as it looks.
Derek is being held (or hunted) by a Mexican cabal of hunters known as the "Calaveras" who may have more invested in the pack than just holding Derek -- after all Lydia (Holland Roden) has been revealed to posses the skills of a banshee, a legendary demon able to sense when death is imminent. The leader of the Calaveras wants to know everything about the pack, and especially everything there is to know about the new alpha. As if that isn't enough on their plate, the bloodthirsty Malia (newcomer Shelley Hennig) is now part of the pack, and keeping this feral beauty in check rests on Stiles' shoulders.
Scott must now go to extremes to take out perhaps the most dangerous threat they've ever faced and solve the mystery of what really happened to wolf-hunter Kate, but once they track down Derek the group may be in for their biggest surprise ever! Season Four ups the ante and raises the stakes, and the production has never looked better. The season opener "Dark Moon" is thoroughly explored in a behind-the-scenes look at the episode's visual effects.
Among additional special features loaded into the DVD are the infamously popular "Teen Wolf" Gag Reels and the return of the "Shirtless Montage" with full-frontal highlights of the show's buffed up BFFs. Another bonus takes a look at "The Beasts of Beacon Hill" -- more monsters than ever turn up in this season of the hit show and you're going to want to know what evil everyone is up against.
