Teaze 12 Party is NYC Pride's Official Event for Women

On Saturday, June 27, head to Pier 26 in Tribeca for NYC Pride's ultimate dance party for women, Teaze 12. Formally known as Rapture on the River, the event runs from 3-10 p.m., creating a day-into-night party experience. And best of all, this year's DJs include Ruby Rose, Sherock and Whitney Day, plus the group Rich White Ladies.
"Thousands of women dancing on Pier 26? It's the ultimate Teaze party," write organizers. And after the Dyke March, which goes from Bryant Park to Washington Square Park at 5 p.m., even more ladies head over to the event to grab a few drinks and watch the sun set over the lesbian community.
This 21-and-over party is the only official women's event of NYC Pride. Now in its 12th year, Teaze is one of the nation's largest, longest-running dance events created just for the ladies.
At this year's Teaze dance, you'll enjoy music from hottie DJ Ruby Rose, of Netflix's "Orange is the New Black" fame, plus DJ Whitney Day and an opening set from DJ Sherock. Last year's event included an impressive light show, hot dancers all night long, and a mechanical bull that proved a challenge to stay on. Attendees got creative, wearing festive outfits to dance the night away. The event continues to grow in popularity as organizers innovate, and secure big-name entertainers.
"After over a decade of 'rocking women's worlds,' we're refreshing the event and introducing tons of exciting new ways for ladies of all walks to come together and celebrate Pride!" write organizers.
Proceeds from this event benefit Pride Week events and community organizations. The event's production committee awards $45,000 in grants to LGBT and LGBT-friendly nonprofits and community organizations each year. The event also supplies NYC Pride with critical operating revenue and brings countless visitors to the NYC area for Pride.

Teaze will be held from 3-10 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at Pier 26 in Tribeca. Attendees can take the ACE or 1 subway to Canal Street, and should cross the West Side Highway at Laight St.
