"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes has dropped a lawsuit against the series' executive producer Andy Cohen, as well as Bravo, NBCUniversal, and others, alleging racial discrimination, according to People Magazine.
Leakes filed the suit in April, accusing "the defendants – including the production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original – of violating federal employment and anti-discrimination laws," People recounted.
"Court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Monday indicated the former reality star 'dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice,'" the article added, before saying that "This situation is a joint stipulation dismissal without prejudice between all parties. Leakes, therefore, can resurface this case down the road if she chooses."
The story was broken by The U.S. Sun, which noted that "court documents confirming the dismissal don't indicate why NeNe decided to drop her claims at this time."
But the suit itself was very clear about the allegations for which it was purportedly filed, claiming "the former reality star complained to executives about years of racist remarks from 'RHOA' castmate Kim Zolciak, 44, but that only NeNe suffered consequences," The Sun recalled, before quoting from court documents that said "NBC, Bravo, and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged."
"Leakes claimed the network 'did not terminate their relationship with Zolciak-Biermann, nor take any other meaningful action to put an end to her racially-offensive behavior' but gave Zolciak-Biermann, 44, a spin-off called 'Don't Be Tardy' (which went on to run for eight seasons on Bravo)," People relayed.
Zolciak-Biermann slammed Leakes' complaints as "not true in regard to me" and "ridiculous," People noted.
