Kilian Melloy READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Who did Billy Eichner bring as his plus one to the premiere of his gay rom-com "Bros?" His legendary "Billy on the Street" guest star, Elena. Surprise!
Eichner tweeted about his date for the premiere, Entertainmnet Weekly noted.
"Elena first rose to prominence in 2015 as a recurring personality on Eichner's 'Billy on the Street' comedy series, which saw him bombarding innocent New Yorkers with a camera and a microphone to ask them hilarious, impromptu questions," EW recounted.
"Across her subsequent appearances on the show through 2017, Elena attempted to milk a cow, served fashion via her 'old Mexican jacket,' and famously proclaimed that she has a stalker named Tapioca."
She also has an admirer named Billy Eichner, who declared Elena to be an "icon" in a subsequent Twitter post.
As previously reported, Eichner dropped a brand new clip of "Billy on the Street" on his Twitter feed on Sept. 20. In the clip, Eichner, Paul Rudd, and "a pack of wild lesbians" adopt the comic's in-your-face style in promoting the film to passers-by.
"Bros" premieres in theaters Sept. 30.
