The cast of Netflix's "Heartstopper" is officially back together again for season 2 of the hit teenage romantic drama, and everyone looks happy to see each other. There are also four new faces.

As reported by Variety, a video promoting the series as it enters production shows the cast holding scripts and lovingly embracing.

New additions to the cast reportedly include Jack Barton (Netflix's "The Letter for the King") as David, the older brother of Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). He will be not so supportive of Nick's relationship with Charlie Spring (Joe Locke).

Also new is British stage actor Nima Taleghani ("Cyrano de Bergerac") as Mr. Farouk, a teacher at Truham Grammar School, where Nick and Charlie attend with friends Tao (William Gao) and Isaac (Tobie Donovan).

After a nationwide casting call, Leila Khan will join the cast to play Sahar Zahid, "a student from the Higgs Girls school, where Nick and Charlie's friends Elle (Yasmin Finney), Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) attend," Variety reports.

Then Bradley Riches, who had a minor, unnamed role in season 1 of the show, is having his role expanded as a character named James McEwan.

"Heartstopper" is based on Alice Oseman's best selling graphic novels about the budding love story between the bashful Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick.

According to Variety, the first season quickly gained critical acclaimed, and the entire lead cast is returning for season 2, including Connor, Locke, Finney, Gao, Brown, Edgell, Sebastian Croft as Ben, Tobie Donovan as Isaac, Rhea Norwood as Imogen, Jenny Walser as Tori and Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry.
