Teen Wolf, Season 5 Part 2

There's no matching the increasing number of genre series that continue to pull in audiences eager for some bit of existential fantasy, apocalyptic horror, or superpowered men in tights ready to save the day. Plenty of these series, come and go, but few have the mainstay to establish a mythology that will keep an audience captivated season after season. One such hit series keeps its fans baying at the moon and is available now on DVD. MTV's "Teen Wolf" Season 5 Part 2 has come home and continues to follow the beastly Scott (played by Tyler Posey) and his pal Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) as they battle evil forces and navigate themselves through the perils of adolescence.

The first half of Season 5 senior year was looking pretty bleak for our pack of heroes. Scott had ascended to and settled into his role as the alpha of the group, but a whole new legion of horrors was preparing to descend upon Beacon Hills! There were new wolves sniffing around, series regular Holland Roden's character Lydia's mysterious role as a mythically powerful banshee was continuing to unravel and Stiles place on the team had become compromised especially when his own dad was caught in the middle of a supernatural brawl - and quite possibly may not survive the ordeal!

MTV's "Teen Wolf" expanded beyond the boundaries of Scott's feral alter-ego, introducing an entire menagerie of demons and dark side deities, but none compare to the threat of the Dread Doctors - a group of masked maniacs who experiment on supernatural creatures in their determined quest to create the ultimate horror - a creature they call "The Beast"! When Season 5 Part 2 opens, Stiles' dad is hanging in the balance as the group - now fractured - must reunite to find a cure to his crisis. A new group of adversaries is also on the hunt, searching for Lydia whom they know plan to lead them to a hell hound - perhaps the most dangerous monster yet.
